LINTANG runs guided nights, astrophotography workshops and slow retreats under Indonesia's darkest skies — where the Milky Way is a structure, not a rumour.
Two-thirds of us live under skies too bright to show the Milky Way. We spend our nights finding the places that still go properly dark, measuring them, and bringing small groups out to stand under them. No light pollution, no rush — just a guide, a telescope, and a sky deep enough to get lost in.
A guided tour of the visible sky with a 10-inch Dobsonian. Planets, star clusters, the Milky Way core — narrated, never rushed.
Leave with a tracked, stacked shot of the galactic centre. We cover settings, focus, trackers and processing in the field.
Two nights off-grid at a SQM-21+ site. Slow meals, no screens, and the entire arc of the night from dusk to first light.
Take the gear yourself. We deliver a tuned scope, printed charts and a 15-minute crash course so you are ready by dark.
Each site is plotted by how dark it gets and how far the horizon falls away. The brightest point is base camp; the rest are a night's drive or a short flight out.
↑ later: overlay an actual long-exposure star trail behind the chart.
Tell us how many you are and where you'd like to go dark. We'll match you to a night, a site, and a guide — and lend you the glass.
